Does what it says, i use it as an adhesion primer which it excells at. Do bare in mind that after using you will most likely need to throw your brush away as it doesnt clean out easily

Easy to apply and dry's quickly. Leaves a good paintable surface with a bit of a denib from some 120/180. Make sure you buy some Methelated spirits so you can clean your brushes after.
I have used this in several ways as an undercoat.
Cover knots in skirting board .
Cover mahogany stained staircase
Stains on wall.
All have come out perfect NO stains coming through.
As it is quick drying you MUST apply quickly and do not keep going over the same spot.
Can be thinned down if it becomes too thick at the end of tin.
I would not use anything else for an undercoat

Good stuff, good adhesion. Applied over Gardz to block stains in old plaster. Liked that it goes off quickly. Quite fluid so a bit of care when applying vertically, any drips come up with a paper towel and meths.
Excellent primer good coverage on all stubborn stains. Only two complaints it’s very thin so lots of light coats needed otherwise your chasing drips and it’s very strong smelling primer a well ventilated area is needed
It’s expensive.. but if you have a stain (usually damp) that keeps coming back.. then this is the only thing that will definitely block it for good. Just be careful where you spill it.. and probably be prepared to throw the brush away..
Go to primer and undercoat. Pretty much covers anything and quick drying.

Not the easiest of paints to apply, but if you work fast it goes on nicely. I got this to stop knot bleed on a previously painted piece. Time will tell if it stops them bleeding back through again, but after seeing the reviews on this stuff I'm confident the knots are fully cauterised. Dropped to 4stars purely because I painted it on about 2 days ago.
Excellent, covers up really well, well worth the money
Outstanding primer / sealer; used this on a few occasions (usually under the Zinsser All Coat paint) and cannot fault it. even used it at 12 degress and it dried almost innstantly!. Great price at Toolstation and stock readily available.
Great coverage, covered some ‘artwork’ my daughter made with a permanent marker on her walls. Two coats of bin and then emulsion over the top.
Zinnser covers knotts and leaves great prime surface
As always, the best at covering stains. On this occasion old water leaks into artex ceiling. Goes on well and dries quickly ready for top coats.
