For painters & non painters this self priming black paint from Zinsser really is an advance in painting technology. Water based too. It covers in depth first coat & a final coat completes the job. Quick drying in 15 mins, so if you’re in a hurry, this product is for you.
Really impressed with this paint. Goes on well- not too thin - and dries quickly. I've used it on metal surfaces indoors and out- very good quality, and good, smooth, low sheen finish.
Very good paint. Covers well and easy to apply. Bonus you can wash out the brushes with water.

I've used this satin black water-based paint for a number of jobs, mostly exterior but also some interior: painting some metal gates, uPVC guttering and downpipes, the ply-lining in the back of my van are some examples. It's very easy to apply, whether by brush or roller, and gives a nice finish.
Goes on well and good finish. Only one niggle - when it rains drops don’t form - it’s like the water absorbs into the paint more than others I’ve used. It’s stamped 8yrs so hoping it will be fine - time will tell.
I used this to paint external oak repairs to match the existing beams. It went on well with just one coat.

Really nice covering paint, High Opacity and only needed 1 coat its that good. Yes a bit more expensive but as ever, you get what you pay for. Its also water based so no difficult brush cleaning. It drys quite fast and is rain resistant within an hour. I think its better than Hammerite
Goes on nice and easy and seems durable and wipes down well.

Excellent product, applied to a composite door that was previously painted black.The satin finish gives it a touch of class. Covers great drys quick and cleans up with water. Highly recommended.

A great product that works with you rather than against you. Self priming is a must a d two coats within 2 hours a real help. Great finish and a quality look. The client was completely satisfied and happy to see their garage door stood out as the best in the entire road.
