Disconnecting Tool for use with Tectite Classic, Tectite Pro and Tectite 316 fittings. Tectite male connectors have either taper BSP threads to ISO 7 (formerly BS 21) or BSP threads to BS EN IS0 228:2003. Inert Jointing compounds or PTFE tape should be applied to taper threads and good quality jointing washers should be used with parallel threaded fittings.
