As might be expected, this was easy to fit. The previous latch had failed, and this immediately looked much better made. It fits, it works smoothly, and I see no reason not to expect many years of good service.

Excellent, I wasted time buying a cheaper non branded one which I had to exchange. This fit much better and was much better made. Not worth saving money on such a key component. Ordered in store at 7pm, delivered to my home before 12 the next morning
Proper Job. Fitted replacement. Nice and strongly made unlike the rubbish it replaced.
I did need to chisel out a millimetre to get the thicker plate in, but worth it.
I found another one and the same condition, do preferred another unit. Pity they are not a stock item. Better quality than the others.

The metal latch square drive inside the old ones disintegrates with use (door fails latched closed!). These are a direct replacement which slot in perfectly - take old one to check correct size. Hope Yale has fixed the internal weak drive
Nice quality latch - that’s why I bought it and what you’d expect for the price. Instructions were good too. All was going well until I started to fit my bolt-thru handles. Had to replace it and because of the welded packaging I couldn’t reseal it to take it back
Latch does the job but would have looked better if the retracting part of the latch was also chrome rather than a brass colour

Standard type of latch. Hope Yale makes the quality better than the original fit.
