Excellent bit of kit, don't get me wrong, this is hard to install yourself, but with some Patience it is very secure. Would highly recommend, especially if you feel your WiFi is vulnerable. Wired to VXR box with options to backup to a USB. Quality night vision and quality AI detection. Only downside is the AI feature is only available for up to four cameras so choose wisely if you have the full 8. Would recommend using an expert guide or AI assistant to guide you through the set up as there are a lot of settings and features. But it hasn't let me down once. Doesn't need to be online to record. It has been a life saver. Literally.
I bought this because my old ‘box’ lost HDMI output. I was told there is no replacement as it is over 10 years old. The new one is a good system. Uses the old wiring which saves a lot of hassle. It also works with my old cameras! Which I was told it wouldn’t. I only found out because I accidentally connected up an old one.
Cameras are ok but not as clear as I hoped they would be. Software is terrible and user manual very poor.
Straightforward to install but difficult to set up. The cameras seem to have limited lateral movement and field of view. Also you have to turn off the notifications when you're in the property otherwise you get an email alert every time you pass camera.
Quick and easy setup, app works really well and cameras are great with lights on. You need a monitor to set them up at first but other than that you just plug in and leave it alone
Easy to physically connect the wired cameras but there are no instructions for setup. I’m struggling to set it up in a property with no internet. They do ha email and online help but all very tedious. I don’t know why you can’t download a full installation manual. Hence 4 star

Although, at the moment I’m still unable to sort out the audio. The default setting is off. I have tried many ways to enable the audio but failed everytime.
Also be warned. If you’re not a techy person, you will need to search for tutorials on YouTube as very limited instructions.
Once it’s set up it seems like a good solution, and you can use any other bnc style cameras you may already have. The initial problem I had with the system was I couldn’t log into it as it was asking for a security code that wasn’t provided and the hdmi tv connection didn’t seem to work. So being experienced in I.T issues, I left it till the morning, and no idea why but I could then configure it from my phone…
Other complaints, fairly short cables to cameras, the cameras are all plastic, and there’s no waterproofing for where the cables join.
The notifications are ok, but being told when headlights from passing cars illuminate your garage gets a bit annoying

Bought this to upgrade an existing old system, as the price offered was very attractive. It functions as expected and described, but the addition of a printed comprehensive guide to installing, setting up, using and getting the very best out of the equipment would be a great benefit to this average DIY purchaser.
The installer found a fault on 1 camera so had to return it but the lady in toolstation was very good to deal with.

Personally would prefer it without notifying me of the motion detection every time - I believe you can turn this off but I have not looked into it properly. Has to be wired in also, luckily I know someone who can do it for me - if you don’t could be expensive.

One cable connects to the WiFi router and the other two to the camera itself. Also has a cable for the tv or monitor. You are able to connect your phone via the Yale app for the remote access when away. The quality is high, clear and speedy loading. It also has the motion detection so you get the notifications on the phone when away. You are also able to review what happened on your monitor when back home. I will definitely recommend this as it’s extra secure and keeps you safe.

I am very tech savvy and computer literate I have the latest technology and always find using new devices easy. This has to be the worst configuration and set up I've ever experienced. Absolutely no help or instruction. No guide. Will not connect either of the cameras. Will not work. Not sure if it's a defect of the actual product but I've been trying for several days and it will not work. The cameras will not set up in the app and don't show on the screen. I was really looking forward to using this product to make it safe in my home but I've been unable to use any of it. It looks really great quality too. Such a shame.
