One of our neighbours houses was broken into whilst they slept, I bought this motion detector to add onto our Yale alarm, as we now part arm the system overnight and needed to cover a vulnerable area downstairs. I like how easy it is to add devices onto the Yale system, no wires to run and used the app to pair it, definitely works fine, found this out when I forgot to disarm it the other morning!

This PIR detector only works with certain Yale systems including the wireless EF series. Easy to fit and connect to control unit. It will be interesting to see how long the batteries last in practice. It’s not the smallest PIR around but not too obtrusive if mounted on white background.
This system is excellent value, works and very simple to install.
