Lock seems ok, although I don't know about the new style keys which may be an improvement. Would be 5* review but for no standardisation of the way measurements are taken, which meant I had to change a wrong size. I would have made further mistakes but for the knowledge of the guy behind the counter.

Top grade lock replacing 'standard' lock snapped during break in. It's not until this happens to you just how big a design flaw there is in 'standard' locks. This 3 star platinum lock addresses those shortcomings and will put up more resistance if someone tries to break in again.

Good lock worth the extra money just awkward to get key in dark.
Not a good lock. Wouldn't always unlock from the inside first time. Rough operation. Would often take a couple of goes to unlock. Kept fouling on something inside the mech. Was starting to do the same from the outside. Keys not easy to line up and insert. Maybe this is a one off as I have not had any problems with Yale locks before.

Lock was available for next day pickup from my local Toolstation. Good quality lock from Yale. Spare keys available quickly online too, once you have the lock code.
Pleased with my purchase. Looks and feels very well made. On the down side the key is a little more 'fiddly' than conventional keys to get in.
