Hard to get excited about a Yale cylinder. It was in stock and served its purpose which is all most of us ask. Reasonable quality and price, it didn’t come in a tin so I can’t use that tired cliche.
A replacement cylinder that did it's job. Would have preferred another key but that's minor.
Wasn’t exactly a good fit. Yale haven’t kept to the same design as the Yale Nightlatch I have albeit 20 years old. Quite a bit of grinding involved but a successful outcome.
Very straightforward replacement at a lot less than a locksmith would have charged. Unscrew the screws on the handle mechanism and you can easily see what to do from there. I didn't even have to cut the bar connecting the new barrel to the door latch handle!
I recently replaced a Union night latch lock with a Yale tumbler replacement, worked fine!

Busy household so I purchased a well known long standing brand just to make sure.
Easy to install and replace previous Yale lock. Nice to be able to replace lock easily when moving into new home and so many other things need doing. Good quality and good price, two keys provided. Would buy again and happy with purchase.

I would have preferred Yale's full barrel on the cylinder for a snugger fit, but this appears only to be available in brass.

I have used Yale locks a number of times a lead brand & quality product. Replacement from a Tess lock only four years old & kept jamming. Not found that with a Yale lock who have a technical support to go to for help.
Great lock, but disappointed that there are only two keys.

Used the pick up service at the Darlington depot and it was excellent.
A fairly straight forward replacement cylinder lock. Shame these only come with 2 keys, spares are not cheap & other type locks (from yale - euro's) come with 3 keys. Still easy replacement cylinder, only wee bit of effort required is ensuring you saw/snap off to the required trigger length/spin, or whatever thte technical name is. I didn't have a saw with me at my daughter's, but did manage to gradually weaken at the correct score mark with a couple of pairs of pliers & snap off to required length. Allgood
