Bought these to extend my existing system. Took all of 20 mins to add and sync them up. Added one in the garage which works well, other two in the house.

I just called the Yale helpline and they confirmed my understanding that the Yale Home App currently only emails or texts you if the alarm is set off. If you don't notice these and are away from home then you have no way of knowing the alarm has gone off.
It is easy to miss an email or text for a period of time. For an event such as being burled, I want to make an immediate response.
Please could Yale add a function to the App that sounds an alarm on my phone when the alarm is set off? That way I would be certain to get the notification if the alarm is set off when I am away from the house.
I believe that this would be a major improvement to the product that is hopefully easy to add to the App.
Other than this feature I am happy with the alarm and think it functions well and represents good value for money. However, unless this functionality within the app is added, I wouldn't currently recommend the product to a friend; since what is the point of a web enabled app and alarm if it can't reliably gain your attention when you're burgled?

They work fine after you change the batteries in them, its a bit pointless supplying an item with batteries when they don't last past installation

Bought them to extend the coverage of the full Yale system, including apart-armed option for upstairs. However couldn't find a way of zoning the pir motion detectors from Yale's appallingly vague instructions. So ended up installing them downstairs, which was easy. Toolstation, as usual were excellent for delivery.
