Needed a replacement for a worn out lock, tried to make sure I was selecting the same model, it was and it fitted right onto the old backplate. So installed in minutes! So far, so good!

We bought this to replace an existing narrow night latch. Good product, everything present and in good order, great service from Toolstation
simple to install as replacement for previous similar lock - took less that 10 mins and allowed previous keys to be used
I needed a new lock for my motorbike shed after the previous one broke, this one is much better quality and fitted first time. The screws were in a different position but this was not a problem. Toolstation is the first place I check nowadays.

The lock looks to be of good quality but the handle lets it down.the back of the handle is hollow and the edges are fairly sharp,which dig into your hand when opening door.
We bought the lock to replace and renew a 1960s Yale nightlatch. It was for a niece’s front door to her first home. We anticipated that being a narrow version it would be an easy exact replacement. The catch wasn’t a bad fit but the keep was quite a different size so requires more work to make it fit.
