Works well. I needed to replace an older , less wide version but after cutting out a little more on the door, it fitted well

Good lock but I do wish all manufacturers would conform to exactly the same dimensions. The body of this lock is very slightly taller than the old lock I replaced so additional chisel/drill work was necessary. Although the plate was the same size the holes for the woodscrews were slightly different, involving re-drilling. I decided to leave the old plate in the door frame rather than weaken the frame further fitting the new one!
This mortice lock is very sturdy & easy to install.
It comes with a paper template to make installation easy & precise.
