Excellent bit of kit, don't get me wrong, this is hard to install yourself, but with some Patience it is very secure. Would highly recommend, especially if you feel your WiFi is vulnerable. Wired to VXR box with options to backup to a USB. Quality night vision and quality AI detection. Only downside is the AI feature is only available for up to four cameras so choose wisely if you have the full 8. Would recommend using an expert guide or AI assistant to guide you through the set up as there are a lot of settings and features. But it hasn't let me down once. Doesn't need to be online to record. It has been a life saver. Literally.
I bought this because my old ‘box’ lost HDMI output. I was told there is no replacement as it is over 10 years old. The new one is a good system. Uses the old wiring which saves a lot of hassle. It also works with my old cameras! Which I was told it wouldn’t. I only found out because I accidentally connected up an old one.
Cameras are ok but not as clear as I hoped they would be. Software is terrible and user manual very poor.
Straightforward to install but difficult to set up. The cameras seem to have limited lateral movement and field of view. Also you have to turn off the notifications when you're in the property otherwise you get an email alert every time you pass camera.
Good product, works as described. The video quality is very good.
Quick and easy setup, app works really well and cameras are great with lights on. You need a monitor to set them up at first but other than that you just plug in and leave it alone

Although, at the moment I’m still unable to sort out the audio. The default setting is off. I have tried many ways to enable the audio but failed everytime.
Also be warned. If you’re not a techy person, you will need to search for tutorials on YouTube as very limited instructions.

Personally would prefer it without notifying me of the motion detection every time - I believe you can turn this off but I have not looked into it properly. Has to be wired in also, luckily I know someone who can do it for me - if you don’t could be expensive.

One cable connects to the WiFi router and the other two to the camera itself. Also has a cable for the tv or monitor. You are able to connect your phone via the Yale app for the remote access when away. The quality is high, clear and speedy loading. It also has the motion detection so you get the notifications on the phone when away. You are also able to review what happened on your monitor when back home. I will definitely recommend this as it’s extra secure and keeps you safe.

I am very tech savvy and computer literate I have the latest technology and always find using new devices easy. This has to be the worst configuration and set up I've ever experienced. Absolutely no help or instruction. No guide. Will not connect either of the cameras. Will not work. Not sure if it's a defect of the actual product but I've been trying for several days and it will not work. The cameras will not set up in the app and don't show on the screen. I was really looking forward to using this product to make it safe in my home but I've been unable to use any of it. It looks really great quality too. Such a shame.

I will update my review once it’s up and running in my new home but for now, I’ve taken everything out of the box and inspected it thoroughly, the build quality seems impressive and although it’s a wired system, I am hoping the recordings will be better quality. Useless product - the motion detection feature triggers on plants blowing in the wind, so I get 100+ modifications per day when it's windy. No options to adjust settings - either switch off notifications then why even bother to have a camera, or spend my whole day looking at notifications.
