Very quiet and way more effective than my last extractor fan. Very reasonable price for the performance. I’m using it in a small bathroom. Would buy this again.
Extremely easy to fit and looks great also.
Very bad product.. waste of money , sensor is not working.. so I have to replace it after the installation...
Bit fiddly to get in but good value
Great item easy to install very quite
This was easy to install and makes a noticeable difference to humidity in the bathroom.
I brought this a few days ago and its fitted up and working, very quiet. Because I brought this and another Xpelair model at the same time I queried with Xpelair why no back draft control and they stated because because it was not powerful enough to open the flaps and also said if you wanted it I would need to replace the external grille supplied and fit a separate back draft shutter, wouldn't have brought it if I'd of known.
The fan itself is great; quiet, good suction and attractive, I've installed these in walls and they're fantastic, but the wall kit is very poor. Cable ties or duct tape are required to secure the flexible ducting, these are not supplied in the kit, also the duct fixing zones are short and loose. No backdraft flaps are fitted and, as its a very open design so you need a backflow prevention devices to stop drafts. The fan is fitted with interior clamps which would hold it firmly in 100mm rigid duct, however these don't work with the flexible duct supplied or to the plasterboard so this fan must be screwed to the ceiling, but then the fixing holes are too close to the edge to allow plasterboard fixings to be used. And finally, the design (louvres & logos) is such that when it is used on the ceiling it looks like you've bodged and stuck a wall fan in the wrong location.
