Good quality steel and well engineered with enough side pass
Did a perfect job for me of cutting 18g nails short enough to hammer back out the other side rather than denting and bending and leading me to get annoyed! The curved ends also came in handy when I had to pull the nails out the other side as well, acting as a lever so everything came out smoothly.
A really handy piece of kit, reasonably priced also.

I bought these to cut through fret wire when making fretboards for guitars. They go through nickel-silver wire like butter, and stainless steel fret wire is not a problem either. Edge retention is great, I haven't had to hone these in six months use so far. Fret wire x-section area is approx 2.5mm2 if anyone needs an idea of the sizes of steel wire I'm cutting regularly with these.
Need some nips to take out cable clips from the wall before decorating perfect for the job far better than normal plyers
