They lit up when they were fitted into the lampholders, but don't work well in fittings that require horizontal lamps, because the control gear end causes shadow areas

Purchased for a 3-lamp chandelier, to replace lamps that were too bright for the room. These are okay, but to be honest, these must be the warmest white lamps that I have ever purchased. The brightness is fine but the warm white tinge seems to be much yellower than any other lamp that I have experienced or purchased. Therefore, I remain a tad disappointed with the ambience of them. The actual size of the candle body of the lamp is also a little smaller than I expected or have experienced before when buying candle lamps. Overall, I will make do with these for the time being, but I don't think that this has been the best lamp purchase experience, since LED lamps have been available.
Great bulbs for the price. The ones I use to get elsewhere were sometimes slightly too short for my light fittings but these work fine.
Excellent bulbs with a warm light, at a good price, will buy more.
Bought them for bedside wall mounted lamps and they are a little on the bright side if you didn't want to wake whoever you share a room with, however they would be descent to wind down with a book before bed
