Unfortunately there's no fitting instructions, and I'd advise not to try and fit the third centre fixing, as it involves unscrewing 6 screws, 6 retaining clips and removing the heater element (another 2 clips), and then rebuilding it - not for the faint hearted.
This can add at least 15 minutes to the fitting.
The heater itself seems to do what it says.
This heater was easy to install and operate. Since using it I have found it to be exactly what I was looking for as it provides instant heat when taking a shower and of course can be switched off immediately when finished. It comes complete with simple operating instructions and I would recommend it as an effective and economical product.
More than - just what my customer wanted. Instant comfort in the downstairs loo.
Amazing quality amazing price amazing service every time
Doesn’t come with flex cable , inside mains terminals are a bit close to the circuitry, all being said it works well and has good functionality
Works a treat. Easy to install. No flex cord, so have to fit it yourself. Only negative is that it’s noisy, but this could be because of the cardboard walls in my dormer bathroom.
Our old Glen bathroom wall heater was showing its age (probably at least 30 years old). Although a 2kW heater, one of the elements had burnt out quite some years ago and it was also becoming noisy. Looked for a replacement and found this. Installation was straight-forward although the cable was in a slightly different position on this heater to our previous unit. I love the fact that it can switch from 1kW to 2kW by pulling on the cord and the fact that the 1kW, 2kW and 'cool down' function have different colours for the LED. The old heater has a rocker switch inside the unit so not very 'user friendly'. I also appreciate the 30-minute timer and compared to the old unit this is substantially quieter. Thoroughly recommended.
Great item and esay to install. Works well and heats bathroom very well. No cable with it.
Unfortunately it is very noisy and not an effective heater, even in 2kw setting.
I had to replace a similar heater, which was no longer manufactured. I looked on line for a 'much of a muchness' product, and there were quite a few. So now it was down to quality, availability and cost. This one passed the test with flying colours.
I've not ran it for full 30 mins but for like 10 mins at least gives off toasty heat. Wanted to mention. Pull cord 1/2/3 The led light goes yellow for low heat. Red high heat and then flashing green for cool down. (Instead of just a red led i found this cool) the pull cord doesn't need a strong yank also just a gentle tug. Also I find my unit to be blowing mostly to the middle and right instead of to the left hand side.
This is a very smart looking heater and works well, plenty of heat from both settings, I like the run down feature, which cools the elements and plastic casing. A very good idea. The wiring is a little different, as you are connecting the cable to a pcb board not the usual connection block. All good so far.
Seems like a good product, not the easiest thing to wire up but now it's up and running I'm pleased with it.
Replacement of an existing bathroom heater. Easy fix, works great. 30 seconds run down timer to cool element ideal.
excellent price. excellent and easy & secure installation. 2 x heat mode. low and high Heat and beautiful outlook
Looks good and works efficiently. Easy to install.
Easy to install with supplied accessories.
It would be nice if it had a short length of electrical cable with it.
So far I haven’t used it because it’s not cold enough but the test appears to push out enough heat
I fitted this over the workbench in my shed. Worked very well on cold days in the winter. The good thing is that it turns off automatically after a few minutes because there were times when I accidentally left the old heater on overnight (and longer) on 2kW setting. £££! If the new heater turns off automatically, all you need to do is pull the switch cord on again if you still need heat.
Also, the old heater was a floor mounted fan heater and was a fire hazard because it got full of sawdust and sometimes knocked over. The downflow heater is above most of the sawdust and out of harm's way.
Works well but time will tell it’s still early days
Easy to install, two heading and auto stop cooling
