Expensive, but worth the cost, they are well built & very sturdy and should last for years. A little heavier than my 25 year old steps but these do have the side rails and top tray which are useful items.
Now in my 70s I needed a sturdy, steady stepladder for safety and this fits the bill perfectly. The side handrails are helpful in working securely at different heights and the top rail gives me something to steady myself against when working from the platform. There is a clip on tray for tools, the only drawback being it is just too small to hold any thing larger than a 2.5 L tin of paint.
