The Werner ladder standoff gives a much more comfortable position to work from. I also made a simple ply shelf over the Werner legs to rest the paint tins on. Simpler and safer.
Easy to fit and ideal for reaching gutters.
Eady to remove for storage.
Used the stay to paint a flat wall on a sloping roof .the stay brought ladder out from the roof just enough to paint wall safely.

Not the greatest.. i was optimistic about this but being werner thought it would be good. It is held in place by 2 u bolts with wing nuts to fit and remove. Problem Being you can only tighten so far the wing nuts by hand and its not safe when you rely just on this. Solution use grips or pliers to tighten the wing nuts. Then ive ended up with stripped threads and is absolutely useless and need to source more u bolts. In the meantime its sitting aloft the scrap pile in the shed.
A must have for working on guttering/windows. Does the job, quality of the threads could be a bit better.

I have a mid-terrace house with a lower roof that protrudes which makes it difficult using a ladder to access wall and windows above and under the top roofline without leaning ladder on gutters and fascia. This attachment provides extra clearance while being stable. Very useful to have.
Definitely feel much more stable on my wobbly old 7m ladder with this in place and a strap anchored to the wall at the base.
Such a simple bit of kit that makes working at height on soffits and guttering so much easier and safer. Simple to put together and fit, wish Id bought one years ago. Reccommended.
Great piece of kit . If you need to access fascia & gutters & dont have access to a tower , this is much safer than leaning over

Needed a stand off too bridge my ladders over solar panels on a high apex dormer bungalow. These were great and exactly what I required.
Purchased this after storm Éowyn to access a damaged roof safer with an extendable ladder. I have not regretted the investment. The Werner ladder stand off is easily put together and even easier attached to the ladder and taken off again. It improves all over stability significantly, leaning onto or under the Facia boards. U-Bolts threads were stripped and didn't fit under the soffit
Very stable. Unlike others handy when there’s a downpipe. Little bit of pain to unscrew when taking off, but reasonably easy when you get the hang of it.
This is an excellent piece of kit. Thoroughly recommend it for any ladder use. Easy to fit and remove. Sensibly priced.
It took a wee while to put together and I’ve used it to access my gutter. It feels very safe and I’ve no complaints. It does make the ladder much wider which gave me an issue on one section of wall. It does take a few minutes to attach to the ladder and as I have a couple of ladders I would have liked it to be a little quicker. However, you need it to be safe and it does feel very secure when fitted
