Look Closely - copper pipe defect issues. Having used Wednesbury pipes on multiple house projects I have to note that the quality is no longer acceptable as two recent purchases have shown damaged pipe ends, very thin walls which sometimes crease when pipe bending, but with the latest purchase there are longitudinal defects in some pipes which are that bad that compression fittings will not work, so please check the quality when purchasing.
I've only noticed one small dent in one pipe but I'm not bothered. All the ends were fine and all the pipe are straight, unlike when you buy them singular because they are curved
Copper pipe was of good quality this showed when bending the pipe with a bending machine no ripples on bends perfect as pipework was on show

This is the Standard for good quality copper pipe. It has a slightly heavier gauge than some, but still bends without excessive effort. Always seals and solders well and I've never had a damaged pipe out of the pack.

Copper pipe is expensive, but I couldn't find anywhere cheaper. Bent fine with a pipe bender and soldered no problem. I think it is always worth cutting an inch off each end with a pipe slice in case of any slight flattening if its been knocked, and also to get a slightly tapered end which avoids damage to push-fit fittings
Ordered 5pk of 28mm 5pk copper pipe online & collected instore. It was wrapped in cardboard packing and acceptedas was. Opened at home & found 1m of pipe unusable due to being bashed flat / deformed which is now just scrap.
