Does an excellent job in lifting the moss
The collection basket is a total waste of time if you have thick moss as you will spend most of your time emptying it
Good price, excellent delivery and does a good job; Well done Toolstation. It's unfortunate, however, that the amount of disassembly/reassembly necessary to swap-over the scarifier and aerator cartridges is prohibitive, but I knew about that before I made the purchase.
Good solid machine works well. Common sense needed putting together and for changing the bars as the pictures in the manual are not that clear although the instructions are very detailed. Definitely recommend.
Great machine, and a good price. Scarified my lawn and this machine did a great job.
Great piece of kit. Robustly made and comprehensive instructions on how to look after it properly. Expecting it to last for years. First time of use with the vertical cutter was outstanding. Only needed it on the top height with two passes at an oblique angle to pull out sufficient to make a huge difference. Scarifying later and maybe another cut in the Autumn should complete the job. I bought instead of rented because regular scarifying makes a big difference and a machine is a must on any medium to large grass area. Yes the box is a bit small to be much use, but I picked up with the mower as recommended. This second cut really minces and compacts it making it easier to deal with.
If you need a vertical cutter to manage thatch and a scarifier for general upkeep, this is a solid and well-priced option.
Good powerful machine but a change of cylinder is a bit involved.
It's nice robust machine and doing good job. The scarifier need to be used with out collector as this is fully filled in no time.
Very effective scarifier. The powerful engine & adjustable height made scarifying and raking my lawn (approx. 700 sq metres) relatively easy. The only draw back is that the collection container is too small - I had to ditch it and do without, resorting to manually raking and collecting all the thatch etc…
Had been looking for a petrol Scarifier for a while, as not for professional use didn’t want to spend too much. Settled on the Webb 40cm and couldn’t be happier.
The cheapest deal I could find was on the Toolstation website and as you have to order it online had a bonus discount for my first online order 😁
It is delivered directly from the dealer and you have to deal with them direct if there are any problems. Although there was a small issue when it was delivered, I received a quick response to my email and the issue was resolved the next day.
Although I have only used the machine for a short time, on a small part of my garden, it feels like a very good quality product and I can’t wait to get using it in the near future 👍🏻👍🏻
