Delivered without wire connectors not worth buying
Deceiving photo as wago’s not.included, thought it seemed cheaper than the last one I bought, does say it in the description but all the pics show it populated
Ideal for heating systems/scope for upgrade/additions
Disappointed that the photos show the box and a lot of Wago fittings but all you get is an expensive plastic box.
Fantastic product. Easy to use. Neat and tidy. . It does not come supplied with WAGO 221 connectors (read the full tech spec). WAGO also make a 10 way connector 221-420 which is great for linking earths and it fits snuggly left or right of the central array of connectors. Ratchet saddle clamps supplied with box. A lot of thought has been put into the design of this item. A great product from WAGO.
Bought this to wire up a 3zone system
Good job I checked the box as it comes with no connectors and had traveled 6 mile round trip.its picture shows with all the required connectors but as you read down the small print the last line says that you have to purchase the connectors separately
Why show a picture of the box with the connectors leads you to think that the connectors are included
To get the connectors required it’s about another £40 to the cost
VERY MISLEADING PICTURE PLEASE CHECK ALL YOUR PURCHASES BEFORE LEAVING
Doesn't come with wagos. Should be made more clear
First time use of this item, Easy to connect all S plan wiring with various Wago 221's
L60 is great for gas engineers to keep wiring organized, simple and efficient , speedy wiring levered wire grabbers.
However Toolstation do need to keep a full stock of the components in store.
Not cheap, but a quality product. You need to buy all the connectors needed to populate the wiring centre.
I brought this as I needed multiple connections for a heating system. I was taken in by the picture. I understand that in the small print it did say unpopulated but I do feel the picture should be accurate. The fact that you have to purchase wages makes it quite expensive for what it is. It was the best item to use but please use a correct description.
It was a joy to use this to wire up a central heating install. Only just enough connector ways for a three-zone system. Would be very comfortable for two-zone.
This is by far the best solution for a “wiring centre” available on the market. It’s much much better than the smaller version of wago wiring centre.
You can configure which wago connectors you use as needed (not included with this need to order separately if you don’t have already). It has capacity for many connections for ever more complicated systems.
You can get at least 12 flexible cables into the bottom (possibly more if smaller diameter cable). These are held in place with an easy strain relief.
There is also 3 round cable entries in the back of the product. The screw holes align with a 2 gang back box as well. So you can 1st fix cables into one and screw the box over on 2nd fix.
What I like most about this wiring centre is the fact that you don’t have to think about every cable at once like a traditional wiring centre. By this I mean that traditional wiring centres you have combine multiple conductors in the same terminal. With this you can just do one at a time into a wago slot. This also makes it easy to correct mistakes, fault fining easier and easier replace components (say a faulty zone valve).
TOOLSTATION if you are reading this please can you stock this item in your branches. It’s only available for next day delivery at the moment. There has been several occasions I wanted one from you the same day!
Good strong light and low price also very rugged body
The wago L60 is great for organizing underfloor heating connections
It's pricey since it comes unpopulated though.
It would be nice if wago also had 8x connectors, 6x and 7x
In my case it was 5 4wire and 3 2wire actuators
To make 5 x you need 1x5 and 2x3 wago because two connectors are just for bridging and one for input to feed 5.
So when buying these systems think of the overall connections.
I could have used 2 wago L32 but that just means bridging the cables between the boxes as well.
Overall out of the 60 I probably used 48.
So it's great when you have lots of little wires and connections to make
A rather large wiring center, which makes it very easy to get all the cables in and dress them nice and neat. A big 'falce advertising' point is that it is shown with WAGO terminals. You are only buying the white plastic box, add your own wagos. It's a lot of money for a bit of plastic.
It's simple and effective though results are great in my view. I would recommend.
I have purchased two of these to tidy up the lighting circuits. Numerous previous revisions/alterations and rewiring attempts had left a rat's nest of cables in the roof space and under the floorboards. This junction box is easy to configure to suit the task in hand, enabled me to safely house the rewired circuits which can now be clearly labelled and the cables are simple to install thanks to the Wago connectors. A first rate product in my opinion.
