Im pretty able to do most DIY jobs around the house but never attempted any plumbing jobs, so thought i would give it a go. Researched and watched Youtube videos and thought the best place to start was with a good blow torch, Settled on the vortex based on reviews which seems more than up to the job but i think ive got a lot more practising to do - all the gear but no idea springs to mind
Replaced an old torch. Found the small flame nozzle to be great for 8mm micro bore - good control.
Used to remove a stubborn nut, got it glowing and it came off with ease 😁🔧

Needed additional heat to remove a stubborn stud from an exhaust manifold and whilst watching the repair shop so this (or one very similar) being used.

This is a great tool to go alongside my mig welder and mini mini gas welding torch.

One of the adators was broken. I had to return it but. Hence I consider it is not high quality. It's better to pay 20-30 more and buy something better.

This is an effective and professional product. Portable and provides good heat instantly. Its easy to control the flame and I'd be lost without it. Not the cheapest but a vital bit of kit.
Compared to a butane this map gas torch is superior. Heat in a small flame exceeds a butane torch on full blast. Self ignition is great. Wish I’d bought one years ago.
Hot flame enough to get steel to cherry red, easy to use.
Good torch. Much hotter flame than propane. Made a difficult job that little bit easier.
