Toilet flush been playing up for a while, nagging wife kept reminding me to get it sorted,Toolstation was my budget saver, at a good price too.
This product works really well and is easy to fit. Although it is the cheapest on the market the quality is very good.
Good quality syphon and at a great price was straight forward to install.
It's an easy fix. Straight swap no messing. Dual flush.

I purchased this to replace a similar one in my 95 year old mums home so it had to work and be simple to fit and work. And it did .simple. straight forward and was a perfect replacement for a DIY plumber Would recommend
I haven't used this item on this occasion as it didn't fit the cistern, which is of a very narrow design. I have used the product in the past and it worked as it should. This one is now in stock for the next job.

Needed to do a repair for a client whos toilet cistern was broke. This was easily done leak free using this product.
A decent product, very low price. It needed adapting slightly to fit in the base of the cistern but it works fine.

The instructions can be misleading. I fitted the syphon at its maximum length as supplied because its marked 9l and my old toilet has a large cistern. Then I realised that the height of the syphon has to be set to the overflow line for the internal overflow. Also initially it was only working on half flush and I thought it was faulty. Moving the fill valve spout away from the top of the syphon solved the problem.
I bought this syphon after reading other reviews and it seems nobody had the problem that confronted me. I was replacing a round plastic syphon with this oblong one and it was fractionally too long to fit the downpipe in the hole as the lip of the syphon caught on the tapering side of the cistern.
Having looked at the spec sheet, it does have measurements.
Lesson learnt and offered to others: measure the bottom of the cistern from the hole to the lowest internal edge.
Given a 4 star as I don't know how it works when fitted.
Toolstation staff were excellent in helping me measure other replacement items. Now it's all sorted!
