Viva Skylo Bottom Entry Fill Valve Brass Shank

Quick and easy to install and works well easily adjustable

Replaced my fill valve with this one, it was difficult to find a fill level that didn't create water hammer. I replaced the item as I thought it was faulty, still had the same problem, I adjusted the stop cock and reduced flow on the service valve still had water hammer, it wasn't present with the old fill valve. I have since got a refund and replaced with a flow master valve 🤞 this one works better. The staff in store were brilliant as always.

Mate rang me. The toilet cisten wont stop. Popped round sure enough wouldnt ajust. Being from a maintenance background thought propbaly just a seal/washer to replace. Stripped down found our hardwater district had worked its usual destructive way and replacing a seal would be a temp fix. So checked online popped to local toolstation bought replacement. The whole thing was fitted in less time than the coffee pod machine took to do one cup. Easy adjustment Easy fit and cheap.

Fitted this to replace an old style ball cock type which took ages to fill.
This is significantly quicker as it fiils at a constant rate without slowing down. Shuts off at the last minute. Was concerned it might not fit as the cistern is a slimline one but it's fine.
Really pleased with it and happy to recommend.

This is a really good product and easy to fit. The brass shank makes it easier to connect to than similar products with plastic congections, so that it seals well. The instructions are well written and easy to understand, which makes it simple to adjust and maintain.

Excellent product and great value for money. The conical washer is useful if the connecting pipe isn't quite vertical. Always optimistic for the brass shank version now as the plastic shanks are unreliable and prone to cross threading when connecting to metal. My regular plumber uses this brand and recommends them.

Does what it says, quiet operation, easy to fit and adjust

Bought this fill valve to replace the original that would not shut off. Easy to install and adjust to the height of the cystern. The brass fitting for the cold water inlet feed ensures no cross threading, but which can happen with the plastic threaded valves. Also, this one is quieter than the original when filling.

Bought this to replace a ball/lever system that despite being new and thereafter fitted with a new diaphragm washer failed to completely stop water entering the cistern (Suspect this may be due the mains pressure being greater than the pressure exerted by the float). The Skylo valve has stopped the problem and was very easy to fit and calibrate; in addition it had a brass shank unlike the previous system's plastic version.
