This Viva side entry filler valve is an excellent product for fitting into very tight problem built in cisterns or any toilet cistern it is a fantastic design as it can turn both ways on its side inside the concealed cistern that I had to replace a very old ball valve and this was the perfect replacement for that job !!!

swapped for the concealed cistern type where the isolation valve is in the cistern. fitted exactly the same and works perfectly. feels quality and has a 10 year warranty.
Easy to install and seems solid construction. Only issue was that the fill valve I was replacing had an adjustable tube that could be extended down into the water. Without this the filling water now splashes until the level comes up and is not silent as before. I zip tied a poly food bag with part of the bottom cut off, over the filler so it dangled into the water. Seems to have solved the issue.

Works well and with Brass thread fitting. Much better than the other plastic thread fitting that can crack and leak after aging for a few years.
Swapped out to replace a simaler item - straight forward with no issues. The valve is able to adjust 90° either way if cistern is tight on space which some might find usefull.
Would have likes little more adjustment to lower the water level but it does the job at an inexpesive price!

Good simple fill valve. Easy to fit, with handy innovations. Easy pick up from local Toolstation after ordering night before.
Decent float valve, but the instructions didn't seem to mention that the top has a bayonet type fitting to release it. Not that you need to, but I was curious before I fitted it.
Also no mention of whether the double check capability just pulls out of the body, and under which circumstances to swap it. I'm not a plumber (as you can tell!)
Replaced old ball valve type. Excellent, takes up less space and is quieter.

Brought this to replace a failed fill valve on my concealed cistern and it fulfilled the brief perfectly. Compact size with plenty of adjustment made fitting easy. As mentioned in a previous review, I also used the old securing nut internally to act as a spacer to limit the amount of thread on the water connection externally. This helps in attaching the cold feed in the confines of the concealed cistern cabinet.
