It's quite thick and then it push the product towards the edge creating a mess and spreading it on the walls.
Does exactly what's required. The tip is soft and leaves a smooth, even finish.

It maybe just me but ilthe tool was clumsy pulled the silicone and wasn't great. Wet finger worked so much better.
May as well use finger, didn’t work for me. That being said, I’m not a mastic man, thought this might help, didn’t for me.

Did a good job of smoothing the bead but still used my finger to finish it
Surprising this did in fact work on the sealing of a shower unit and avoided me covering most of the room and myself. Bit difficult in corners but I'm sure that would come with practice. Have a tup of warm water and a clean cloth to hand for between sections
Bought this because had a deep cut in finger. Worked like a charm and saved the mess from fingers. It did help when siliconing to spray the area with water but, even without the water it left a smooth finish.
Great to smooth sealant with this tool, makes it easy to use.
Not the best my fingers would have done a better job.
Really handy. Didn’t want to buy the more expensive set for such a small job. Took a little more manipulation but once you get the hang of it was great!
