The Vaunt 3.2m Telescopic Soft Close Ladder measures just 88cm high when closed but reaches an extended length of 3.2m Made of thick aluminium, the ladder is strong and durable yet light for easy manoeuvrability. Conforming to professional use standards EN131-6, this telescopic ladder can hold up to 150kg and features a heavy-duty stabilising bar, rubber non-slip feet and a non-slip stand-off top. When not in use, the ladder can be secured shut with the adjustable clip strap and carried comfortable using the ergonomic handle on the base. Telescopic ladders should always be opened from the bottom first, this Vaunt ladder has been designed to encourage this safe use. The locking mechanism also features an easy read status indicator for each rung. The indicator will change from red to green when locked securely. Once you have finished using your telescopic ladder and regardless of what height you have it, the ladder will fully close by simply pushing in the two release sliders on the bottom rung. Because of its soft close function, the ladder will close only one rung at a time preventing the ladder coming down at once and endangering the user. This is achieved by utilising the vacuum of air within the ladder arms, the pressure being released slowly and controlled, and the top rung to be fully closed before the next rung will begin closing. This one action close makes for a quick collapse of the ladder and ensures your hands are well clear.
