A basic PIR sensor that works well.
No problem with replacing old unit (not bought at Toolstation) that had failed.
Good value for money. Easy to fit and angle for doorway and drive coverage.
Very hard to click open as plastic is very stiff. Once open and wired the clip section would not clip back into place to make a seal. Had to tap up the join for the moment before returning.
Bought this I the lamp I've bought didn't hava the sensor. Easy to install, happy so far .
Did the job. Easy to fit. As expected. Reasonable quality.
Works great simple to connect and install with no problems
This was easy to use and mount. The only issue I had was that I wanted to use triple-plus-earth cable, so the rubber grommets were not suitable - they were intended for two runs of twin-and-earth. The absolutely weird thing is that inside the mounting bracket there is an arrow label 'up" - and EVERY illustration including this one has the unit the wrong way up!! including the manufacturers website.
The PIR sensor is small and discreet, reasonably easy to install, works as it should, and is a good price.
The only criticism is that the space for connecting the cable is rather small, and the lugs retaining the main unit into the base are not very strong, which made it tricky to get the main unit to stay in place in the base.
Time will tell whether the item's life is ok ... if it is, it will deserve 5 stars.
The PIR is small but there is enough room to make connections. The twin adjustments of time and light level work well. Coverage and reliability of detection is good.
Works well in a tricky spot. Partially masked with some electrical tape is very accurate
This was easy to fit.
It was only let down by the range of detection.
Mounted at 2M high could only detect movement at approximately 6M.
Well short of the 12M as specified on the data sheet.
So it's cheap. Doesn't give quite enough adjustments for my needs so it's on/off a bit too much, there isn't much room for cables. But it is working ok
Didn't feel particularly good quality but it did what it is supposed to do.
Used this after replacing the old blown halogen bulb in my security light with an LED unit. The original sensor was not working and was likely not compatible with the LED. Removed the old PIR and wired this in its place and all works as it should.
Works well and mounting is easy, plenty of wiring room inside the enclosure.

Minimum.
