Easy to fit and seem to work well with plenty of room for the wire connections
One of my existing two corner sensors failed. This one is neater than the previous make/model (supplied by Toolstation) but is not easily interchangeable. Last time one failed I was able to just instal the new sensor to the original bracket. This one is totally different so I had to fit the new bracket to the wall and rewire the feed into it. That wouldn't have been too difficult had the offset fixing holes been in the same position. Unforunately they are offset like a mirror image so I had to redrill the brick. As the brick was weakened by a second pair of holes a large chunk flaked off! Having successully repaired the brick and installed the sensor it appears to work well and looks much neater than the old one. I await the demise of the other sensor and a similar saga replacing it!
Great sensor for over doorway, lights up as go into porch before go outside
Bought this PIR to switch a bathroom extract fan as I was unable to get a switched live feed from the lighting circuit.
It’s a neat well made unit and was easy to install.
Works well and fairly easy to mount. Not much space for wiring as usual for these PIR sensors but no worse than others. Only real criticism is the IR shield to block our unwanted areas is flimsy and is a fiddle to clip on and then get the securing ring over the top, dropped it a couple of times.
