Corner mount fixings very close - difficult to drill into masonry without breaking off brick/stone
Good product but lacks a sensitivity switch. May return it and exchange for alternative
Motion sensor purchased to replace existing one that had gone faulty. I didn't need the corner mount bracket. Very easy to install and set up with clear instructions. Both the Time knob and the Lux knob are preset.The time knob is set to minimum (10 Sec) anti clockwise on the minimum. The Lux knob clockwise on the maximum (sun). Switch on power and after warm up time of 30 sec the lamp will turn on. The time knob is clearly marked with sec/min and the lux knob is has settings clearly marked between sun and moon. Then adjust to suit.
Does what it says on the package. I have two installed on my own house. One corner mounted, the other flush. Great bit of kit.
No way to change the sensitivity so just kept going off all of the time. Returned and replaced with a model from elsewhere that had adjustable sensitivity.
Works well, but read instructions on the settings. The plastic collar that holds the adj mask and cover the adjustment dials could be so much better with a 1 way location and slight turn to lock. Many will break this. Other main think is the Lux dial, Do NOT turn fully round. If u pass the 3 lux, it will disable the pir totally and only operates as a dusk to dawn photocell. Markings are not too clear. But once sussed it works well and nice shape to the body. IP65, time will tell! If you don't need the masking off piece, bin it, then the daft collar will be easier to fit.
