Supplied with a variety of connectors, unfortunately the size I required was not included so I had to modify the original to fit. The device still did not work properly so it must have been a different fault.

The term universal is misleading, only one end and one nut fitted. Had to search for the correct manufacturers part and return this one.
Life saver to bring our old boiler back on line. Easy to fit with spare bolts etc.
good quality universal thermo couple thats fairly easy to get a neat bend to as the copper is semi hard.
Perfect fit onto an old boiler, and had all the required parts in the pack.
Having established that the thermocouple had failed I thought it was worth spending a few pounds to see if I could replace it. On trying to fit the new one though I found that all three of the threaded fittings were too big. It seems mine is 7mm. The thermocouple with multiple fittings had been out of stock so I took a risk purchasing this one. I decided to reuse the original nut by cutting a piece out so it could be slipped over the copper tube. Sorted! Gas fire tested safe and working again!
Diagnosed problem at 10:30 and ordered online. Collected 10:40. Fitted 10:55. AGA back up & running 11:00

Always have a spare one of these in the garage. They can fail at any time, but you can bet it will be late on a Sunday or bank holiday. Easy to fit super quality and would highly recommend.
Does the job as the couplings don't appear to listed for my boiler, cheap fix to extend it's life, have used universal before and they work well if spacing to pilot flame is correct.
