So easy to fit with just a couple of holes to drill rather than trying to carefully cut a piece of the door out with a chisel
Reasonable product, slightly let down by the included instructions showing a spade bit used to drill out the recess for the bolt. Don't use a spade bit (a) with a central screw to pull it into the material, or (b) in a door that isn't solid wood (or where you're not certain how large the solid wood section for locks, handles etc is.) After my bit hit cardboard and air, twisted uncontrollably and smashed through the face of the door, I managed to save the day by flipping the door around, reinstalling hardware on the old hinge side, rehanging, and a lot of filler... but it was a ton of unnecessary work and aggravation. Use a hole saw instead.
