I used two of these kits to mount a 7 foot pole on a chimney while we had scaffold in place for another job. The result was very rigid and I am sure will last a good while. I did add eyelets and cable clamps suggested in another review and they did indeed make the whole thing easier to get tight.

Good heavy duty bracket and fittings, I used the M4 wire rope thimble part no 70990 with clamps part no 63506. I managed to get a good tension on the wire rope.
