Quite pleased with this seed. Grew nicely and quickly. It's fairly hardy now it's esablished.
Well packed spreads well. Time will tell on growth/quality.

I usually buy this grass seed from Toolstation once a year due to it's value for money and the quality of it. After a really hot summer which destroyed a large area of my lawn I wasn't overly hopeful this time. Lawn had dried out with lots of bare patches and straw like grass. I proceeded to aerate using a spike roller and garden fork. Soaked the ground and raked in some seed. A light coating of topsoil and some more seed and that's it. I did time it on a week where there was a lot of rain due and got to say I was really surprised that after only 1 week I had a green lucious lawn unrecognisable from the damage of the summer. I'm going to leave it a few more weeks before giving it a cut. Probably be the last cut of the season. Hopefully it holds up over winter with minimal work to do in the spring. Really great product and cheapest around.

Went to collect Fence Paint and purchased this seed at the same time. It has been scattered , now we wait to see if it grows!👍🏻
Good seed. Birds don't seem to eat it so most of what I sow gets to germinate.

With very little preparation of the ground which a predominantly heavy clay, seed was spread, raked and watered and in a week we had germination and in 4 weeks it was ready for its first cut. Simple and easy product and now we have the early stages of a very nice lawn.
6 weeks to germinate and then very poor I’m afraid.
Quality seeds value for money, mix of couple of different varieties
Not as good as I expected having paid more than usual for what I hoped would be premium seed. Worryingly slow germination taking close to 2 weeks not 7-10 weeks. So you could wait 2 weeks and be lucky or disappointed. Ive grow. Lawn from seed before, was spraying with gentle water and covered with netting to keep birds away and had my dogs patrolling. Even so results should have been better and that's with lawn fertilizer as well.
Does the job as long as you follow the instructions. I had a few patches where I'd removed weeds, this seed made the grass come back green and luscious. Tried it on a flowerbed I wanted to add to my lawn and it grew even stronger. Happy
