Grass Seed used for overseeding did the job. easy pick up
Used to overseed bare patches on lawn. Rake over spread seed, top dress with top soil. Good germination in 10 days in October. Water daily till established.
I returned this product as it was dated May 2024 when it was bagged?
I am really satisfied with the results after 4 weeks, thick and green grass in a matter of weeks. I did require a lot of water to get good results. Annoyingly the Toolstation listing does not state what the seed mix/blend is.
My 10Kg bag consisted of;
ESQUIRE (30%) Perennial Ryegrass,
MAXIMA 1 (40%) Strong Creeping Red Fescue and
TROYA (30%) Perennial Ryegrass

On top of this quality of seeds very very poor.
Decent result, easy to use. Make sure you bury the seeds!

Good grass seed, maybe not quite as much germinations as I would have liked but that might be because I did not prepare the round as well as I could have.
Great seed, has covered most of my garden 125x125m, used as a second coat over meadow grass seed and is already coming through after a few days!
Worked well for me reaults within a week. Gone a bit patchy now but that was down to me leaving render on it. Another box will be bought to patch up . Recommended .
We needed to-reseed an area which had been covered by matting inside a marquee for about a year and the grass had gone. The area was lightly raked and the seed sown. Anther area was badly worn by footfall and the seed was applied there. Both areas germinated quickly and grew quickly. The ew grass has withstood heavy footfal very well.
Quite poor germination, so have had to top up with another brand, which worked better

I'm a professional gardener and have used this several times to re seed lawns. It's effective, good quality and I've always got good results from it.
Seems good stuff at a reasonable price. Germinated in about a week and is growing profusely. Very satisfied

Massive bag of grass seed. All bagged and sealed within 6 months which is much less than any seed ive bought from a nursery in the past some being over 2 years old.
Looks good in the box ,now we have to wait to see it grow
