These worked well for me - I cut 3 x 250 mm 8 mm tiles with one of these TC Grit Jigsaw Blade Tile dry and it worked very well for me. You need to go slowly - I cut dry and it might help to cut wet.
Much more anagable that cutting tiles with an angle grinder & cutting disk.
Good value for money product that works well for the job
Great piece of work. Cheap snd does the job wrll .
The blades cut stone and clay tiles smoothly, but have very little effect on porcelain. An angle grinder is the right tool for porcelain, and don"t forget the goggles
Tried on 10mm ceramic kitchen wall tile. Bearly scratches them. Useless
Cheap but work well, cut very cleanly and last well
They look as if they will do the job, but not used them yet. When I do, I will try them at the lowest speed plus spray on some water.
Good quality excellent price and service would recommend
These are ok for small cuts, most definitely not for big stuff. Mine struggled with 2 tiles four inches wide. It was my only hope because I don’t have anything else so worked for me…..just.!
Ideal for cutting awkward shapes in tiles, found they cut through the tiles easily
Absolute rubbish. Dont buy these blades.they didnt cut at all, I dont know why they say they will cut ceramic tiles because they dont.
Only good for removing grout and not cutting the tile
As others have said, they wear out fast, but they're perfect for those small fiddly jobs
These are great. I needed to cut a square hole out of a large oblong tile to run pipes through for a shower. I marked up and drilled through opposite corners, using a 10mm tile drill bit (also available at Toolstation). The blade cut through the tile like a knife through butter. Plenty of life left in the blade and still have a spare blade.
Great blades cut through the tiles like butter I only used one and still plenty of life left in that
I needed to cut a U-shaped hole in the edge of a basic 6mm wall tile to fit around an electric cable. As it was a smallish cutout, rather than using a Jigsaw, I held the blade using pliers & made the cut by hand so I had more control. The blade worked perfectly for this.
I can't say how well it would work or last with thicker tiles or many cuts.
Thank You good service vbbhjjgcchhjhgcgggvbjnnbbbbbb
Not used on tiles so I can't comment on that. I use these on GRP (polyester) laminates. They're pretty good carbide cutters for application, not the best I've used, but excellent value.
You get what you pay for, ok for a few tiles but wouldn't recommend for any more
Used them successfully to cut cement board but they just do not cut 10mm floor tiles, disappointing!
