Fall a part, back of the sheet should be hook and loop but after 10 min of sanding paper starts to slide away. Not holding at all.
Very effective, easy to clean, and good dust extraction through mesh fabric
This is the first time I have used mesh sanding sheets and I find it’s good it’s lasts well by giving it a rinse under the tap drying it out then use again, and being mesh when using a dust extractor on your sander it’s sucks up a lot of the dust
Not bad for money but can’t peel off to and re-use as backing stays on sander
Rubbish quality .
I needed something like abranet as I was sanding the fine surface filler by toupret and the aggregate is so small it seems, even with extraction, to hang around under the sheet, it doesn’t clog it but it stops it cutting/rolls around on the grain. I couldn’t get abranet off the shelf for my 125mm orbital sander, I got the trend equivalent and as I was at toolstation I got these sheets for my delta sander (cut the triangles out of the sheet-2 per sheet). It’s pretty good, I found it sanded for a long time with no sign of clogging (not sure if the same would be true on paint) the mesh is coarser than abranet/bigger holes so might be prone to more marks and it’s stiffer, if the sander goes down unevenly I could see it could make a skate mark from rotation due to the hard edge. The backing is like that polyester mesh than American football shirts etc are made from, holds on ok but it does say you can rinse the sheet and I found when I did this the backing came adrift, might be because I cut it? The mesh and the backings sheets holes don’t always align so I found it does hold dust more than abranet/it gets stuck between the two. You may have noticed I keep on about abranet, well to be fair I think it’s better, the backing is fused to the mesh itself, not obscuring any holes, it doesn’t come off and I think it’s finer, more flexible with more holes in general. This is slightly cheaper though I think, it does the job. I think from the reviews I’ve seen this is probably better than the dewalt mesh.
Does exactly what you'd expect. Wash out and reuse. Have bought other grits.
Not big enough for sanding pole
