Trend 1/4" Template Profile Router Cutter 12.7 x 9.5mm

Purchased this router bit to work with both door and frame jigs on recesses for door hinges, face plates and latch plates. Did the job perfectly, cutting the recesses and not damaging the jigs.

Great router bit, I have only had good experiences with trend bits.

This template profile router cutter works very well at following the lines of a template. Nice clean, crisp cuts can be very easily achieved. I have been using it to cut half lap joints to make doors and for cutting the recesses for hinges. I expect I will be making use of it for many more projects in the future. I would recommend this.

Trend tools are generally very good quality and one pays slightly over the odds for that reassurance. This router bit is no exception, however it is sharp and maintains that edge well so whilst there may be cheaper options initially, buy cheap buy twice.

This maybe a little cutter but the amount of work this has got through and still performs well is money well spent. It just keeps going, have used this on setting hinges, oak worktops in my hand held router and am just amazed how it performs. You wont be disappointed money well spent.

Sturdy cutter at a good price. I'm using these to tidy off edges after a final pass with a bigger cutter. They are ideal for a 'polish' cut. The finest of contact to smooth the surface. I have used them also for a general cut and they hold up well depending on what you're cutting. Resinous or gluey stuff takes its toll but they are cheap enough to change them regularly.

Excellent bit for door hinge jig. Saw this on YouTube and it saved me literally hours to hang 4 internal doors in one day.
