Trend 1/2" Straight Worktop Router Cutter 12.7 x 50mm

Bought this to do mitres on 38mm laminate worktops and by the time I’d finished the first one it was pretty much burnt out and that was only cutting about 6mm at a time.

Great router bit did the job perfect, bit still razor sharp after two worktop joints

Not impressed at all, cut one female worktop joint and 3 cut outs for connecting bolts and burnt out.

Just think these cutters are great giving a nice clean cutm although they don't seem to last too long.

Absolute joke, I tried on several occasions to order on the website with many problems signing into my account, when I eventually signed in I had to search again for the product and when I finally found it and placed my order it said that the product had been reserved for a store in Glasgow, 30 miles away, when my local store is 2 minutes drive. Needless to say I will not be going a 60 mile round trip to pick it up and am currently awaiting a refund. absolute waste of time.

Great piece of kit - sharp and strong - gave good clean lines when cutting 40mm worktop. Good bite - bit unforgiving if not kept in check - but that is more user than tool

Good router bit, first time I've used a Trend, it's worth paying the extra, had to cut out for an undermount sink, drainage grooves and opening for the hob in composite worktops which are hard as nails, maybe could have needed another bit but as the last cut was for the hob it didn't matter how clean the cut was. Great service at longwell Green as usual.

Waste of many used once,and is used once and burned out.

Definitely worth the extra expense, will last longer than a cheap alternative. Excellent service as ever.

Cannot go wrong with this cutter at a good price does the job

Nice cutter, PTFE coated so doesn't get clogged. Use on a lower speed to avoid burning (same goes for all worktop bits).
