Not 38mm as described, actually measures 42mm ID. The pack is labelled 1.5 inch.
Diameter greater than indicated. Seals did not fit 40mm pipe.
Sink waste been leaking from under the basin. Not solved by tightening screws.
Took apart, cleaned, and fittend new sealing rings above and below.
Problem solved!
This is 44mm not 38mm ! Buy 32mm fit 38mm. Description is wrong.
Job done!!! Would definitely recommend Toolstation
Why claim diameter is 1 1/2” or 38mm when it is actually 44mm ? Wasted an hour of my time collecting these ! Don’t waste your money should be withdrawn from sale !
Was not the correct part as stated. Part No. was for 38mm diam but were actually 42mm. Checking previous reviews for this part, it seems that this has been happening for about a year so not a one off. Why haven't Tool Station addressed this issue?
Not the size advertised. Very frustrating when you leave site to get these and they don’t work.
Spare seals will always come in handy incase I brake or lose one during assembly or disassembly
Trap seals are fit for purpose & replacing the original very thin ones which were not sealing
This part fitted perfectly and sealed the joint so there were no further drips or leaks

Unacceptable to find these are too big, as other reviewers have found. Pretty poor product which isn't fit for purpose. These are 42mm which is the old imperial size of 1.5 inches. Not the modern metric Measurement.
Poor quality, very thin and do not seal properly. Had to buy an alternative brand.

Panicking about the leak under the sink and thought I needed a plumber. I thought it through logically and realised it was just missing the rubber washer which had disintegrated over a few years. Sorted it 5 minutes thanks.

Size not as advertised, so not fit for purpose. Should fit tight onto 38 or 40mm outside diameter pipes, but they are 42mm inside diameter so too large to make a watertight seal.
