Ok, use on side garden gate, looks ok, but operating the lock sounds dry. Much better with a bit of grease inside
Great little lock. Easy to drill out the snib, decent enough finish for a side gate.
Thought what great value, shame they use second rate screws, fitted all the barrel and proceeded to fit the lock when with no pressure at all the screws sheered off as the threads met the shanks on two of the screws leaving the screw parts stuck in the door. Answer to this problem is if you buy it. Dont use the screws supplied, get yourself decent screws
A cheap and cheerful lock that does exactly what it needs to do.
Solid construction. Everything you need. Only needed the latch to replace the poorly fitted, unsecure one by my daughters landlord. Now she has a proper secure solid one and feels much safer. (It's a Dad fixed it 🙂👍)
Good lock for the price but it would help if Toolstation gave the lock size, this one is 60 mm . A picture of a door lock without the size is no help to any purchaser other websites put the size on each model

This thing looks alright, but feels cheap. Ultimately, its poorly manufactured. It does not perform as it should, it cannot be sufficiently tightened to the door, without stopping the latch bolt from moving freely. Do not be fooled, avoid buying this item.
Crap quality product but exchanged without question at toolstation.
Nightlatch would lock into the snip position if the door was slammed. not a great outcome if your leaving the house!
This is a budget option and I needed it for a like for like replacement. You can tell that mechanism feels cheap and previous one like this had failed, but does seem to be doing the job for now
Not sure if this is made by Yale but it was bought as a replacement for a Yale. Straight off and on. Perfect match. Easy to do. The screws are probably too short if replacing or use rawl plugs. I used the old 4" screws to get firmly into the wood. Looks good. Nice and shiny and does as you expect a lock to do. Was under £15.
Good product well made. Well plated should last a long time . Three keys to this lock
Bought to replace a very old existing latch. Quite easy for a competent DIYer to install. Good build quality and smart finish. Would recommend to others.
