This has been fantastic for 12 months, bought 2 then last month upgraded the memory cards ( another £40) now Virgin has disconnected the 2.5 GHz, Only 5ghz on my WiFi now, so useless to me 😞. But if still on 2.5g then great 👍
Nicely made and gives a good cctv image. Used a 64GB micro SD card to store the videos - couldn't justify TPLinks 'Cloud' fees. But the camera was let down (massively) by a wifi range of 30ft. The spec is 60 ft, but add a few 9inch walls in the way and it's reduced to 30ft.Maybe all cctv wifi is the same, but it still makes it useless for my needs. Will be returning it for a refund. Disappointed.

This is an amazing camera, the video and pictures are first class for such a budget camera, far superior to what we had just a couple of years back, super simple to set up I have 4 of this type, one is mobile so I can just put it any where in or outside withing the router capability, the recordings are excellent with ease to access them from your mobile anywhere also so easy to watch and find the times you want, it also will notify you of intrusion, the intrusions settings again are brilliant with lots of settings to tailor it to your requirements for detection, I can not speak highly enough about this, makes you wonder what will happen next, lastly we wanted this to be able to recognise faces and number plates, it does this well, at I am guessing around 40 feet or more , one last pointer, you can get a little cover for it, to shield rain from it also hides the sd card, get one you won't be sorry,

Setup with the app is fairly easy, and the app itself works well. Images are not the absolute best over wifi, a bit blurry when zooming in and maybe the frame rate isn't high enough, anything in motion tends to become 'ghosty'. Maybe that will improve when I run some ethernet cable to them. Also, of the two I bought, one persistently goes offline and needs rebooting to reconnect. I suspect it may have been a return because the packaging wasn't sealed. I have worked around it by setting it to reboot itself automatically once a day. It would have been useful to have a longer power lead so that there was more flexibility when choosing where to drill, because plug sockets inside aren't always close to the position where one wants to set the camera up. But for the price, it's not the worst bit of kit.
Great quality camera considering the low price, it was easy to setup. The motion detection is quite sensitive but can be adjusted. Night vision is good.
So many features, so easy to use, don't need to pay anymore.

Great clarity, very fast viewing . My only criticism is that it has a flat camera so our field of vision compared to our previous camera is less.

Bought 4 of these cameras to replace and ancient set up. They were on offer and are very easy to set up. About 1/2 hour each including final position fix. The picture quality is excellent both externally and internally.
Bought this when it was on offer 2 for £49.99, I’ve had to replace a similar camera that was not connecting to my wifi. It was easy to set up onto my wifi and install on my wall. The picture is very clear. The hardest thing is to get the setting on it to suit its position as I had lots of alerts when something blew in the wind so it a learning curve. There are lots of adjustments you can make in the settings, area covered, sensitivity, line crossing to name a few. All in all it does a decent job but not sure how it compares to more expensive set ups
Just brought two of these cameras in the deal that was on offer. As most have already said the installation is very easy and the app is easy to setup too. When drilling a hole for the cable be mindful that for both attachments to go through the hole it will have to be 20mm dia. The setup did not take long and when the camera is turned on it will look for a firmware update first once it is paired with your mobile. Like a lot of things new I am still playing around with the settings to get exactly what I want. You will also need 128gb SD memory card as so you do not have to sign up to Tapo cloud storage unless you want to. If you don't have this you have no way of storing anything the camera has picked up. The picture quality is very good indeed both daytime and night. In fact I have a security light near one camera that has a sensor, which when my dog goes out at night comes on so the camera switches from B&W to colour very quickly. I also receive a notifications almost instantly. So glad I brought these for the money they are great value. I don't know what to expect from more expensive ones, but for me I cannot think of anything I would want from a security camera.
