This replace the old rusty one exactly and shouldn't rust

Product not fitted yet! Shows very slight signs of rust at joints, only time and the westerly winds and rain will tell its worth!!!
This stainless steel guard will probably outlast the house
Easy to fix and is unobtrusive.
There are a few sharp points where the wires are fixed to the rim so would suggest wearing gloves when handling the flue guard.

On close examination noticed the base ring (clasped by 3 screws) was showing some rust already. Seems like mesh is stainless, but imagine they'll be a rusty stain on wall soon enough.
Product is fine ((5 stars for that) but one star for price. It is basically identical to the wire mesh that is provided in a chip pan
I fitted my new flue guard for the boiler today as the existing one had corroded and left a stain down the rendered wall. It was easy to fit and being made of stainless steel it should last longer without corroding. Easy enough to fit using 3 SS screws plus washers (not supplied), It Would be a good idea to include them with the flue guard.
Slightly more expensive but hopefully will be more robust over the long term. 3 screws to fit. Took longer to pickup than to affix.
