Works well so far in removing the air from the system. Was suffering from air accumulation in the pump and this has resolved the issue. As per other reviews, it does need the pipe fittings cleaned up before soldering, but a scotch pad worked well to do that. Soldered nicely. Toolstation got this in the next working day and ready for collection first thing
Pipe connection spigots at first sight seemed a little fragile, but actually held up well during careful installation. Tip when soldering: the copper coloured coating on the horizontal male spigots need thorough removal with wet/dry sanding paper, then thin tinning before soldering pipework. The top spigot is female making cleaning a tad more difficult. I used wet/dry sanding paper wrapped around a finger. Overall the device worked extremely well on my open vented system. Consider this a top performer making the water flow noiseless.

Replaced Myson jetec 2 had to adjust pipework. Quieter and removed air after refilling system. Toolstation price competitive and more importantly they had one in stock.
Does the job at a good price, but needs a lot of prepwork. The copper is heavily oxidised, so needs a good clean before it will reliably take solder. The horizontal connections are male and easy to clean up. The vertical connection at the top is female and is harder to clean up.
Really robust quality ,,,, compared to other ones ,,, need to clean connections of with wire wool before applying solder ,,
I was suffering with intermittent air circulating when heating the water tank in our vented system. When it started it was very noisy, and had I let it continue would probably cause some damage. I fitted this device and the problem was immediatdly solved. Just to note the unit has a strange coating on it which took some cleaning off before I could attempt to solder the pipe connections

The product is very well made and looks strong. I have a lot of air in my system and this will get rid of it as I have tried bleeding the radiators but no success.
Fitted several of these over the years. Simple, easy to fit, reliable, working 24/7. Doesn't suffer from scale like automatic type vents are rather prone to do.

Great at removing air after refilling system, a few passes with the pump and most of the air in the system had been expelled. Very easy to fit and should continue to remove any more air left in the system.
