Toupret offer two filler grades, both of which I've used with great results. The fine filler for smaller gaps works very well...dries quickly and doesn't shrink...takes paint and stains well. The same applies to the larger gap filler which I've primarily used on floorboard gaps up to 10mm deep and wide. The filler finishes mirror-smooth under a drum sander and just like the finer grade filler it takes stains and varnish superbly. Very pleased with the product and now I don't use any other.
A really smooth filler that is easy to apply. Dried reasonably quickly too. Sands down to a smooth finish

Stripping the paint off stairs to stain and varnish used filler for nail holes and nicks in timber after sanding and stain the works very well with a light oak stain would recommen using this filler good price as well .
Easy to apply but takes an age to dry on slightly deeper fills.
After 3 days on the skirting board in warm well ventilated rooom its was no harder then it was being in the tub. Took it back and received a full refund at the Newton Abbot branch who were extremely helpful.
