The Toughbuilt Reload Utility Knife is an impressive and highspeed blade-change utility tool that you are going to fall in love with.

Simply put, this is a knife that will automatically load a new blade once you have removed a used, blunted blade. Not only that, you can store additional blades in the removable magazine so that you have a ready supply once you have removed the dead blade – it’s a simple pull back switch that grabs the replacement blade and away you go.
This is where it gets really cool – if you need to quickly change to a different style of blade, you can have them loaded and ready to go in the second magazine. Simply press a button, remove the magazine, load up the next one, pull back the blade slider and the different style blade is ready to go.
The patented quick-reloading blade mechanism means that you are never without a knife ready to go. For your safety, the knife features a finger-guard for cutting safely. At the back of the knife is a blade indicator so that you can see quickly and clearly what magazine you have in.
Each magazine has the capacity to 15 blades – 5 in the chamber ready to load, and 10 in the reservoir.
Love the idea of the knife but the blades seem very brittle compared to other brands
Lots of top reviews for this product, probably mostly written whilst it was new. A few, perhaps written later had the same experience as me. Mine hasn't had a hard life at all, but within a few months none of it's impressive functionality worked anymore. Should have returned it, but have now just binned it. Doesn't live up to it's name at all.
Replacement knife had before but lost , great tool
Seems solid. Magazine system works (and takes standard blades). Handy being able to store so many blades in the knife itself. Have a feeling this will last a while.

This is my 6th ToughBuild knife. I absolutely love the clever design, spare magazine and over all functionality. This knife is great not just for carpet/vynil/lino fitters.
It is a good knife feels solid and works eeally well. Only down side is it is a little bulky and doesnt fit in the pouch very well

I really like toughbuilt tools so it made sense to try the knife out, pricey for a knife to be honest but you usually get what you pay for. Unfortunately mine broke and i never registered it for the guarantee. Bought myselt another and this time ive registered it online. I think just fir the 25 year guarantee makes this tool worth the buy
So, I bought this on a whim, I needed a replacement utility knife and thought what the heck, thought it looked pretty cool.
Loved the idea of having a magazine on it and the ability to reload the thing after dulling the blades down.
This was ideal, 5 blades in the reloader with a further 10 held inside the magazine, so in total carries 30 blades in the 2 magazines, enough for any tradey.
Well worth it, hardy, useful and rough enough to take any beating you can throw at it.
Pretty good jams sometimes but only due to user error

Very good knife to use its handy to have spare magazine. My only down side is you can't use other blades in it you have to buy toughbuilt blades

I really wanted to like this knife because I have other toughbuilt stuff which is great. However,I had to return the first 2 I got as the release catch on both stopped working almost instantly. Also, the button that slides the blade out is designed in such a way that the side of my finger depresses it while I'm cutting and the blade becomes unlocked. Same with the blade release button. The only good point for me really is the quick reload magazine.
Excellent piece of kit, love the blade magazine, just press button and remove old blade, retract slide and it automatically loads new blade.
Stronger build than leading British manufacturers knives which tend to fall apart after a month. Magazine works well as does easy blade replacement.
Broke in the first week the blade won’t stay in when cutting
Just as expected. Good design, good features it feels good quality, time will tell.
