Easy to use, safe too. Like the way it fits together for storage and the handy attached probe cover.
The TIS Voltage Tester is a solid mid-tier tool that offers a good balance of features and affordability, especially suitable for DIYers, smaller contractors, or users who want decent performance without paying premium brand prices.
when using the tester, doing a correct Live-Dead-Live test (i.e. testing on a known live, then on the circuit you believe to be de-energized, then again on live) is essential good practice in electrical safe isolation.
Love that it doesn't require batteries to operate and works with my existing proving unit.
I was struggling to hardwire a dashcam, after getting this bit of kit, had the job done in no time
This was my mistake i bought the wrong product so did not to the job i needed but still seems to be a good item to have if needed in the future
Only used it on mains voltage, so can’t comment on the lower ranges, but for checking that a ring main was safe, this is a perfect bit of kit. Really easy to use.
Not used in anger yet, but testing it against my multimeter, on 230 volts a.c. and 12 volts, proved it works. I wonder if it will last as long as my old rubber encased test lamps, now over fifty years old?
Cheep and cheerful feels very poor quality but it did the job
Fast and efficient when i nipped into stote in a rush, grabbed exactly what i needed straight away.
Poorly packaged, no instruction on how to put batteries in. Returned straight ay
Good value for the price and does the same job
As more expensive and good customer service
This voltage tester is well-made and shows the voltage clearly. I am very pleased with this purchase.
Fantastic bit of kit. Clearly shows if live on many voltage ranges. And long enough cable to hang round neck.
Simple to use and effective and a good price.......
Great voltage tester. It works as expected,it seems robust and it is easy to use. I purchased it for my personal domestic use for sockets and to do a test on a broken oven. For safe isolation i had to test it on against powered sockets instead of a proving unit which i did not have.
Simple tester that shows if current is present and if so what voltage. No batteries to install. Only problem is lights on low voltage (12v) are very dim and can be difficult to see outside.
I was changing what I thought was a simple light. Confronted with a load of wires I had no idea were live or not. Multi meter in a confined area next to useless. this really helped me to locate the live and therefore no trip to a&e
Great product easy to use, sturdy, very useful in fault finding
