Did exactly what i bought it for - check test replacement sockets
Brilliant kit to have on hand when testing or replacing a plug socket.
An excellent electric tester showed me my electric's were alright where my old one gave an earth fault found out one of the leds had failed
Does the job, buzzing is loud and comes in handy..
So far so good. Only tested it on good sockets and works well
Very good, easy to use, reliable, trustworthy. Just plug it in and away you go.
This is a great product at a reasonable price. No set up required. Very much plug and play!
Does what is required at a decent cost. Audible tone is easily heard for some distance so works for identifying circuits. Seems fairly well built but Ive not had it long.

Great works fine good price, audio sound very helpful
Guests in a new holiday let called to report washing machine wasn’t working. Checked fuse and ok. Put tester in socket a “neutral missing” alarm came up. Saved a lot of hassle and guess work. Called electrician to fix fault.
Dodgy wiring installed by certified/certifiable electrician has caused many issues in the past 3 years, from irregular socket heights, non-functioning dimmers, upside-down switches, random circuits and flickering lights. Extension leads are needed everywhere.
Hours after plugging in a new 3-way adapter, tripping RCD was sorted after unplugging the adapter. Week later tripping RCD was constant.
The thought of removing all the faceplates to check the wiring and crawling under the floor to check for issues was as bad as trusting a professional again. I used the TIS to test all sockets to check out the circuits. (I am a qualified electronics engineer with common sense)
With the TIS, the culprit is a dying freezer condenser.
Safe and easy to use, ximple diagnostic clearly marked on the device.
