The water seal did what it said on the tin! Water now just runs straight off the wall!
Perfect for the job did exactly what it says on the tin
Paint it on like water. It soon drys to enable a second coat (just to make sure) however a lot ran off confirming the first coat did the job.
I read the reviews and thought I'd give it a go on brickwork under a window as part of a re-pointing excercise. it looks whitish in the can and goes on easily enough, the bricks turned darker as I applied it and I was worried they would stay that way, but once dry they returned to thier normal colour. It actually seems to work, with some bricks visibly showing water droplets after it rains. Would definately buy again.
Sealed the split-slate tiles outside really well -
It works to a point but is nothing like the image shown on the can. I have given my wall 4 coats but water still fails to run of.
ive been using thompsons waterseal for years,after countless problems with customers damp and water ingress this product really hit the mark..i will vever go for other similar products

The Water Sealer was applied to the wood panel walls on my 26 ft by16ft shed after a gap of four years and was amazed by the improvement . The walls were refreshed and after the rain the following day looked almost as new. I did have to use further 2 cans to complete all the external walls. Recommend this product
Water seal for concrete, cement or any porous surface. Used this in my newly repaired chimney. Works a treat. Easy to apply and does the job well.
Applied with electric spray. Easy to clean with warm soapy water. Could see the parts that had been treated.

I have used Thompsons Water Seal on several occasions to coat a patio and fencing. It says can be applied with brush or roller, but I have used my Hawksmoor Pressure sprayer and it works fine. It probably uses more product by spraying, but is far easier than brush or roller. Would buy again.

Pretty good but wears away eventually. I did a winter on a South facing wall of a semi detached.
