Quality syphon with good instructions and easy to install. Can be adjusted for dual flush.
Large adjustment for volume of water and easy to calibrate.
Replacement worked well and was easy to fit but ensure ball cock is free to work
Very pleased overall, my first time replacing a syphon on a close coupled toilet. The smaller size of the turbo EDGE over the previous syphon also gave me more space to change the fill valve. Flushes work first time now.
This was fitted in 1/2 hour and is a much better flush than the previous one
I brought the Thomas Dudley syphon edge to replace an old damaged Syphon,but the new Syphon was faulty and would not flush .I returned it to Toolstation explained the problem and was given a new one to try out,which worked perfectly.
An easy retrofit for existing Dudley Syphon, easy and quick job.
East to fit. The choice of settings allows you to select the best one for a good flush. The height can be adjusted after fitting without draining the tank.
First time fitted one of these and got to say it's brilliant!.
Fitted in easy and love the double flush system, good strong flush and half flush still gets away a lot.
Great value for money and next time won't need to take close coupled toilet apart as this Thomas Dudley siphon has interchangeable parts without taking cistern off.
All in all a great British made product.

The flush is very weak, maybe something wrong with diaphragm . Sometimes doesnt flush.
This is a very good syphon. Nicely compact and easy to install, and gives a good flush volume.

I watched a YouTube video before I fitted it as I found it much more helpful than the instructions and I have included the link.
I’d definitely recommend the Turbo Edge and the main reason I purchased it was because you can replace the diaphragm without removing the whole unit.
I have just ordered another one for our upstairs bathroom but I will purchase a separate washer for it as we struggled to get a watertight seal with the one that came with it. It has a smooth side and a ridged side but because of the issues we had I’d personally recommend using a good quality washer that is smooth on both sides.
We had to tightened the plastic nut so much more than is actually recommended in the instructions.
I tried to contact Dudley Thomas to confirm which way up the washer was supposed to go but no one was available at the time.
I found something online that suggested the ridged side of the washer goes against the cistern itself to allow for any slightly uneven surface, so that’s which way round I put it. (And the diagram does imply that it’s the smooth side up).
I chose not to utilise the dual flush and used mono flush washer instead, that comes with it.

Very pleased with syphon. It is demountable and was easy to fit, though it was a bit fat, back to front, so that I could not fit a ball valve arm past it (maybe my old cistern is to blame?). It gives a good flush and the half flush works well.
Compact, versatile and easy to install. This should suit every need for its outlet size and is now my preferred device.

Funny, but after the bother I had removing the old siphon I'll take great pleasure changing the membrane when it eventually goes. The top comes off so looks like it will be really easy.
